A hero remembered
Marine Corps League Detachment 1265 Chaplain Dale Grey wipes away a tear as he listens to the heroic story of Marine Corps Capt. Jeb Franklin Seagle on Monday at the Howards Creek Community Center. Seagle lost his life while trying to save others in Operation Urgent Fury in Grenada on Oct. 25, 1983. He was the first American since the Vietnam War to be awarded the Navy Cross.
