Baseball/Softball Camp
The Lincoln County Recreation Department along with American Legion baseball Denver Post 455 will be having a baseball and softball camp for children ages 8-12 years old at the East Lincoln Community Center. The camp will be February 22 and March 1.
The instructional staff will include Bruce Bolick, Phillip Loftin, Wayne Bolick and Jimmy Fortenberry as well as present and former local high school and college baseball players.
The boys baseball camp will run 1:15-3 p.m. while the girls softball session will run 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Players are encouraged to bring a bat, glove, tennis shoes and a towel. The camp will be indoors unless the weather is sunny and reasonably warm.
The cost of the camp is $40, which includes a T-shirt.
Registration forms can be picked up at Betty G. Ross Park, the Pumpkin Center Fire Department and the East Lincoln Community Center.
