The Lincoln County Commissioners meet today at 6:30 p.m. to hear recommendations from the Planning Board.
The Planning Board will approach the commissioners recommending they approve Patricia Fea’s application for rezoning to accommodate a reception hall business in the township of Ironton on the north side of N.C. 150.
The location of the proposed reception hall site is approximately 600 feet east of Ivey Church Road. She is the owner and operator of a bed and breakfast adjacent to the property and has applied to have the property rezoned from suburban residential to general business.
The commissioners will also be approached by the North Carolina Council of Burnt Churches to request approval for the Restoration Unity Service planned for Temple Baptist Church.
Kevin Starr will be present to give the farmer’s market update. Also the commissioners will hear the capital projects report, the finance officer’s report, the county manager’s report, and the county attorney’s report.
