Denver Dazzle NSA State Champions

The 10 and Under Denver Dazzle became the 2007 NSA State Champions in a tournament held June 22 – 24 at Cherry Park in Rock Hill, S.C.
The team won the championship, coming away with a 7 -1 record; its first and only loss in a matchup with the MC Flamethrowers, putting them in the loser’s side of the bracket.
Despite that sole loss, the Denver Dazzle battled back to the championship game by beating the MSA Cobras and guaranteed at least a second place overall in the tournament.
In the final matchup, the Dazzle once again faced the MC Flamethrowers, beating them twice, 8 – 7 and 4 – 2, thus winning their first ever NSA tournament win and the 2007 NSA State Championship.
The Denver Dazzle will be appearing in the Fourth of July parade in Faith, N.C., along with state champions from other age groups.
