Collecting for Ronald McDonald house

The students of Norris S. Childers Elementary School and North Brook Elementary School participated in a project with American Legion Post No. 30 during the past school year. With the help of the students, over 400 pounds of drink can tabs were turned in to help Ronald McDonald House in Raleigh. Recycled tabs help the Raleigh Ronald McDonald House be a `home away from home` for families of children with serious illnesses who are undergoing treatment at nearby facilities. American Legion Post 30 would like the participation of more schools next school year. Those interested are urged to call Jim Mayhew at (980) 241-1051.
