Easter Tourney
The Easter Baseball Tournament will once again be held at Lincolnton High School and will be sponsored by Carolina Trust Bank and Lincoln Athletics.
At 5 p.m. on Monday, West Lincoln will face Lake Norman, followed by Lincolnton versus North Lincoln at 8.
The two losing teams will play Tuesday at 5 with the championship game slated for 8 p.m.
An all-day pass will cost $5.

Middle school clinic
In conjunction with the Easter tourney, there will be a middle school baseball clinic on Monday and Tuesday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The clinic will be for those middle-school kids interested in playing baseball.

Spring Break Camp
Lincolnton/Lincoln County Parks and Recreation is offering a Spring Break Camp to be held April 17-21 for children K-sixth grade.
Campers will be involved in activities such educational fieldtrips, crafts, games and more.
Camp sites will be located at Betty G. Ross Park and the East Lincoln Community Center.

YMCA Spring Break Camp
The Lincoln County Family YMCA if offering ‘Spring Break Camp,’ designed to be a fun, exciting break from school.
The dates for the camp are Apr. 17-21 from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. for ages 5-12.
Activities cover: swimming each day in the indoor pool (including two water-slides), playing games, sports, arts-n-crafts and special guests.

LHS Sports Boosters Golf Tournament
Lincolnton High School will have a sports boosters golf tournament on Apr. 21 at 1 p.m. at Lincoln Country Club.
The format will be 4-man captain’s choice and the cost to play is $40.

Kinderdance
The Lincoln County Family YMCA is currently accepting registration for kinderdance.
A program for boys and girls ages 3-6 designed to help improve balance and coordination while learning rhythmic movements.
Classes will begin April 11 and run through May 11. The Tuesday session (3 and 4-year-olds) and Thursday session (5 and 6-year-olds) will be in the YMCA Aerobics room from 4-5 p.m.
The cost is $36 for YMCA members and $50 for program members. Please note that specific programs require an annual $20 non-member registration fee.

EL Boosters Tourney
The East Lincoln Boosters will hold their annual golf tournament on Apr. 24 to benefit East Lincoln High School’s athletic facilities.
The tournament will be held at Cowan’s Ford Country Club with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start.
It will be a four-person captain’s choice, limited to 30 teams with a $75 per person registration fee due before Apr. 10.
There will be many different sponsorships available for corporations, including players packages and recognition around the course.
Entry forms are available at the school and at Cowan’s Ford Country Club.

Special Olympics
Special Olympics of Lincoln County will hold their annual Spring Games on Friday, Apr. 28 at Lincolnton High School’s Stadium.
Opening ceremonies will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will include Special Olympians from across Lincoln County, who will compete in track and field events: wheelchair races, running, walking, jumping and throwing events.
Everyone is invited to come out and cheer these special athletes.
