Cristina Arlow, owner of Translations Plus and Director of the Lincoln County Literacy Council, has been named by her Ambassador Committee member peers as the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerceâ€™s Ambassador of the First Quarter of 2006.
Arlow has been active in the Chamber of Commerce over the past several years, having served in numerous capacities. She has served as:
Â· board member
Â· vice-chair on the executive board
Â· chairwoman of Leadership Lincoln
Â· chairwoman of the Annual Banquet committee
Â· member of the Staff Appreciation Day committee
Â· member of the Minority Outreach committee.
Arlow is also a past winner of the chamberâ€™s New Member of the Year Award, and was also named as the Chamberâ€™s Small Business Person of the Year in 2003.
Most recently, she was named to serve on the Small Business Council. Also, as a member of the Ambassadorsâ€™ Committee, she is vice-chair of the Grand Openings sub committee.
