To better inform students about options next year, West Lincoln High School will hold a curriculum fair.
Rising ninth through rising 12th-graders, along with their parents, are invited to attend the event Thursday.
The fair is designed to acquaint students with the variety of courses offered within each department at the high school and the Lincoln County School of Technology.
Objectives include creating an awareness of courses offered and any prerequisites, reinforcing the necessity of informed planning and giving students and their parents the opportunity to obtain course information from teachers in the department.
The program will consist of two parts. Orientation for rising ninth-grade parents and students will be held in the cafeteria from 6-6:30 p.m. The fair will take place from 6 – 8 p.m. in the school gymnasium.
School officials believe the event will be an important avenue for students and parents to learn about the many course options.
