Lincolnton state championship shirts
T-shirts and sweatshirts are currently on sale commemorating their appearance in the 2A State Championship.
The shirts will read, ‘Lincolnton Wolves, 2005 State Championship.’
Shirts are on sale at the school and Lincoln Athletics.
T-shirts will cost $12, while sweatshirts will cost $20.

Carolina Flight
The Carolina Flight Basketball Organization is scheduling open gym tryouts in January for the sixth grade boys nationally competitive team.
Last season, the Flight went 35-7 and competed in the AAU Div. 1 National Tournament in Florida.
The team picks up players from a five-county area and practices in Mooresville.

Adrian L. Shuford YMCA Programs
The Adrian L. Shuford Jr. YMCA is taking soccer and volleyball registration from Jan. 23 to Feb. 11.
Late registration for soccer will be from Feb. 12 to the 18 (add a $5 late fee). The cost for kids ages 3 & 4 is $45 for members and $55 for non-members. Ages 5 and up the cost is $48 for members and 60 for non-members.
Volleyball is for kids ages 9-16. Late registration is the same as above. The cost to play volleyball is $30 and $50 for non-members.
The YMCA will take Church Softball registration from Feb. 6 – March 10. Cost per team is $480. A coaches meeting is scheduled for Tuesday March 14 at 6 p.m.

Bryan Adrian Basketball Camp
Registration is now being helf for the 24th Annual Bryan Adrian Spring Basketball League and the 28th Annual Bryan Adrian Summer Basketball Camp.
Boys and girls ages 5-18 are eligible.
The Spring League begins March 19 and will be held at East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte.
The summer basketball camp will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic School from June 12-16.
Camp staff included will be: J.J. Redick (Duke), Sheldon Williams (Duke), David Noel (UNC), Ilian Evtimov (NC State), Donald Williams and Jason Capel.

Special Olympics
Special Olympics of Lincoln County will have their annual Bowling Competition on Thursday, Feb. 23 at Pin Station in Newton.
More than 200 athletes from Lincoln County will participate in this event. Opening ceremonies will begin at 9:30 a.m. For more information, please contact Jeff Leonhardt at 704-736-1098.
