After reading about an Iron Station woman’s Biblical visions, a California woman hopped in her car and headed for Lincoln County.
She showed up at Nancy Grigg’s doorstep, ready to see the little church built in the Griggs’ backyard and hear more about her book “The Truth From God.â€
“She wanted to know what happened to me and how God came into my life and how He changes people through that — the visions and dreams,†Grigg said. “Oh, she was so excited, and we had a good long talk.â€
This is the most extreme attention Grigg has received since publishing her book this year. Prior to its publication, Grigg rarely spoke of the visions she had, let alone receive visitors from other states to discuss them.
“I kept it hid for a long time,†she said.
In her book, Grigg writes about visions she started receiving 14 years ago — all of them placing her into scenes in the Bible. She describes the colors of prophet’s beards, the texture of walls and the hem of Jesus’ robe.
Since writing the book, Grigg says she’s received positive responses from most people. If anyone feels skeptical, they haven’t said so to her.
As for the woman who trekked across the country to meet her, Grigg couldn’t believe her book had reached someone so far away.
“I was in amazement,†she said. “That was just wonderful.â€
