Advance tickets for championship
Tickets to Lincolnton’s home playoff game versus Clinton will be on sale for $9 apiece at Lincoln Athletics, Byrd’s Sundries, City Lunch and Lincolnton High School.
Kickoff is slated for noon.
If one waits to purchase their ticket at the gate at Kennan Stadium, the cost will be $10.
No passes that are not North Carolina High School Athletic Association passes will be honored—county passes fall under that category.

If you’re going to Chapel Hill
Kids ages four and under get in free. No spectators will be allowed to bring collers or food containers and all bags brought into Kenan Stadium will be subject to search.
Also, no umbrellas will be allowed as well as no body paint. Face stickers are permitted. Air horns and noise makers are also prohibited.
Parking will be $5 upon arrival at Chapel Hill. Those wanting to stay and watch the Shelby/Reidsville game will have to stay in their seat as fans will not be allowed to leave the stadium and come back.
At no point will spectators be allowed on the field, before or after the game.

NL Sports Boosters
The North Lincoln Sports Boosters meeting will take place Monday at 7 p.m. in the seminar room.

Free basketball clinic
Lincolnton/Lincoln County Parks and Recreation department will hold free basketball clinics at Betty G. Ross Park on Dec. 10.
Grades 2-4 will meet from 10-11 a.m., grades 5-6 will meet from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and grades 7-12 will meet from 12:30-2 p.m.
Registration and coach recruitment for the 2005 season will be held at all clinics and will be accepted through Monday, Dec. 12.
Cost per child is $25.
