Advance tickets for state semifinal
Tickets to Lincolnton’s home playoff game versus Owen will be on sale for $ apiece at Lincoln Athletics, Byrd’s Sundries, City Lunch and Lincolnton High School.
If one waits to purchase their ticket at the gate, the cost will be $ .
No passes that are not North Carolina High School Athletic Association passes will be honored—county passes fall under that category.
Black and gold parking will be honored for black and gold members.

Free basketball clinic
Lincolnton/Lincoln County Parks and Recreation department will hold free basketball clinics at Betty G. Ross Park on Dec. 3 and 10.
Grades 2-4 will meet from 10-11 a.m., grades 5-6 will meet from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and grades 7-12 will meet from 12:30-2 p.m.
Registration and coach recruitment for the 2005 season will be held at all clinics and will be accepted through Monday, Dec. 12.
Cost per child is $25.

EL Optimist Club Basketball sign-ups
East Lincoln Optimist Club will hold sign-ups for their upcoming basketball season on the following days: Saturday Dec. 3 from 9 a.m.-noon.
A mandatory assessment will be done on Dec. 3 after the last sign-up. Please check out eastlincolnoptimist.org for more information.

Newton YMCA
The YMCA of Catawba Valley Youth Soccer Club will hold tryouts at the Adrian L. Shuford Jr. YMCA in Conover for kids ages 9-15 on Dec. 3.
Ages under-9 to under-11 will be at 9 a.m. Kids ages under-12 to under-15 will be at 10:30 a.m.
