November scenes

Never let it be said there’s ever a dull moment in Lincolnton and Lincoln County, as these photos taken during the month of November will attest.

Chuck McGinley, lodge trustee for the Fraternal Order of Police, along with his son, Jake, carry food from a van to the front door of a resident. It’s part of the fraternal order’s second annual food drive.

With his son looking on, McGinley delivers food to Leila Mason.

Members of West Lincoln High School’s NJROTC program perform a drill during inspection.

Afterwards, officers from the Navy ROTC program at the University of South Carolina (right photo) presented medals and awards to some of the NJROTC cadets.

One of the most exciting events held by the Lincolnton – Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce is the monthly Business After Hours gatherings. The November gathering, held at Syscon-1, located on East Main Street in downtown Lincolnton attracted a good turnout of people who had the opportunity to socialize, network and dine on a wide array of fine foods.
