The Lincoln Arts Council will present a pottery show Sunday at the Lincoln Cultural Center.
The opening reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and is sponsored by Rising Sun Pottery. Music will be furnished by Barrie Howard.
The show will feature the works of 18 potters in the Catawba Valley region.
The pottery will be a mixture of contemporary and traditional pottery. The show is entitled, â€œPottery: Catawba Valley Region.â€
The work will be on display in the Carolina Mills and Cochrane Galleries until Oct. 31. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. -5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Those participating are: Bobbie Black, Beverly Bryan, Jennifer Childers, G. Bryan Cook, Kim Frazier, Allen Griffin, Paul Helton, Karen Henkle, Robert W. Hovis, Jan Hudson, Angie Johnson, Gary Lee, Barry Lockman, Laraine Hoyle Middleton, Sarah Monleleone, Olivia Walker Mourglea, Patrick Mourglea and Carolyn W. Walker.
