The Lincoln Arts council will host a pottery show October 2005 at the Lincoln Cultural Center to feature the work of potters in the Catawba Valley region and will be a mixture of contemporary and traditional pottery.
The show is entitled â€œPottery: Catawba Valley Region.â€
Each artist will be allowed to enter one piece of work and should bring a brief artistâ€™s resume and description of the piece.
Work may be priced for sale with a 30 percent commission going to the Lincoln Arts Council.
Entries will be accepted Oct. 4 – 5 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.
The opening artist reception will be held on Sunday, Oct. 9 form 2 – 4 p.m. The work will be on display in the Carolina Mills and Cochrane Galleries until Oct. 31.
Pieces may be picked up on Tuesday, Nov. 1 between 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Arrangements may be made to pick up pieces later at Rising Sun Pottery if needed.
