NL Football Sign-ups
The North Lincoln Optimist Club is currently holding football sign-ups for kids ages 7-13 years old.
Registration will be held Monday-Friday from 6-8 p.m. at North Lincoln’s Football Stadium.

NL Season tickets
North Lincoln High School season tickets for the Fall are on sale for $75.
A Winter pass costs $60 and Spring pass is also $75. An all-season pass can be purchased for $125.

Flag football
Lincolnton-Lincoln County Parks and Recreation is seeking teams interested in participating in a Fall Flag Football League.
Team registration has already started and there will be a meeting for team captains on Monday, September 12th at 6 p.m. at the Lentz Recreation Center.
There Recreation Department will hold two free separate soccer clinics, with the first one at Betty G. Ross Park taking place tomorrow.
The second clinic will be held at Highland Drive Park. Kids ages 4-8 will meet from 9-10:30 a.m. and kids ages 9-13 will meet from 11a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Registration for the Youth Soccer League is underway. Boys and girls ages 4-13 are eligible with play beginning in September.

Home Run Derby
Hooters of Gastonia and Mizuno Sports will host a home run derby this Friday at Biggerstaff Park in Dallas.
Participants need to arrive by 5:30 p.m. to register. There will be a 200 pounds and less division and a 201 pounds and above division.
There will be a SSO State Softball Tournament at the same venue on Saturday.

Wolves’ scrimmage
Lincolnton will host a football scrimmage against Bandys on Friday.
Admission to the game is $3. Concessions will also be available.
Season tickets are $20 and the game will begin at 7 p.m.

EL Middle softball
Practice for girls’ softball will begin next Wednesday at 3 p.m. and will last until 5.
Prospective players will need a current physical, copy of last report card and softball equipment.

Softball tournament
There will be a softball tournament August 20th at City Park.
The format is an open, double elimination tournament with a five homer limit.
Awards will be given to 1st-4th place teams. If interested please contact Steve Littlejohn at 704-748-2209.
There is an entry fee of $125 per team. The deadline for registration is August 15th.

LMS Football
Lincolnton Middle School will open practice on August 22 from 3-5 p.m.
All prospective players must have physical. For more information, contact Lincolnton Middle School at 704-735-1120.

Dodgeball tourney
There will be a co-ed dodgeball tournament Saturday, August 27th at the YMCA at 10:30 a.m.
Anyone ages 16-and-up is eligible. There is a $100 cost per 10-member team.
Two of the team members must be females. There is an August 22nd deadline. For more information, please contact the YMCA at 704-748-9311.

Adrian L. Shuford YMCA Leagues
The Adrian L. Shuford Jr. YMCA is accepting registration for its Fall youth soccer leagues. Boys and girls ages 3-13 are eligible.
The cost is $45 for members and $65 for non-members. Registration ends on August 26th. After that deadline, the cost will be a $5 fee added for late signees.
The YMCA is also accepting registration for Fall Church Co-Ed Volleyball.
Registration will last until August 31st.
If anyone is interested in playing in the Fall Adult Flag Football League, registration begins today and will run through August 31st. For more information on any of the above leagues, please contact Carlos Arias at 828-962-5554.
