The Lincoln County Farmers Market is now operating on its full schedule for the summer. The market opens on Tuesday mornings at 7 a.m., Thursday afternoons at 3 p.m. and Saturday mornings at 7 a.m. Vendors usually stay as long as they have produce and customers to buy it.
The market is located in the parking lot of the Northgate Shopping Center in Lincolnton. Northgate is just north of Colonial Village on Highway 321 Business. Going from Lincolnton toward Maiden, Northgate will be on the right.
Produce items now include tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, peppers, and more.
After a cool spring, vegetable supplies are steadily increasing. An added feature on many Saturday mornings will be a vendor specializing in vegetables popular in Mexico and certain other Latin American countries.
