Lincoln County will hold a job fair, “Lincoln County Works,†on July 13 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Betty G. Ross Park Gym.
“The job fair will be even more important than last year’s because as the economy improves, there will be a greater need for connecting employers with applicants,†said Judi Morton, manager at the Employment Security Commission. “We hope to draw many new employers and applicants, as well as our current clientele.â€
Industries that will be represented at the job fair include manufacturing, insurance, temp agencies and retail. Some of these companies include Aflac, La-Z-Boy, Lee Boy, Accuforce, Wireway Husky and Wal-Mart.
The event is open to the public.
Each participating employer will have a table, two chairs, and room for displays. There is no cost to participate.
For more information contact Morton at (704) 735-8035 ext. 219.
The event is sponsored by the Employment Security Commission/JobLink Career Center.
