BOAT SAFETY CLASS
Flotillas 17-6 and 17-8 of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, in partnership with the Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation Department will hold a â€œBoating Safely,â€ class on Saturday, May 21. The one day class will be held at the waterfront hall in Jetton Park, 19000 Jetton Road, Cornelius. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. The class will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will include the final exam and presentation of certificates. To pre-register call 704-663-3333. Cost of materials for the class is $35 and includes registration, book, exam, certificates and laminated IDs.
