Costea earns silver

Bobby Costea, 7, earned another silver medal at the North Raleigh Gymnastics Classic recently.
He posted an overall score of 52.9, posting second place finishes on floor exercise (9.4), vault (9.4), and high bar (9.1). Costea came in third on still rings (9.2), fourth on pommel horse (7.8) and parallel bars (8.0).
Costea is the son of Bobby and Karen Costea of Lincolnton. He is a first-grader at Lincoln Charter School, Denver campus.
The Lincolnton gymnast competes close to home this Saturday, January 29th, when he and his Weyandt`s Gymnastics teammates travel to Hickory for the Frostbite Invite, at Northview Middle School, hosted by Foothills Gymnastics.

East Lincoln Ladies
The East Lincoln Lady Mustangs lost to Forestview 77-57 Tuesday.
Alyson Kielar scored a game-high 19 points, while Koree Roseboro chipped in nine in a losing effort. Jasmine Camp paced five Jaguars in double-figures with 17.
The Mustangs are now 4-14 and 1-8 in the Big South 3A. They will square off against Berry Academy at home on Friday.
