The East Lincoln Community Garden Club will have its first meeting of 2005 on Monday, Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. at Webbs Chapel Church in the Fellowship Hall. The Christian Womenâ€™s Fellowship will meet at Westport Baptist Church on Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. The speaker will be Judy Smith from Tri-City Baptist Church, Hickory. WAYNEâ€™S SENIOR FEAST
The feast will be held at Captâ€™n Peteâ€™s Restaurant on Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. The cost is $6. Reservations and payment must be made by Jan. 9. The guest speaker will be Dr. Daniel Davis, Orthopedic Surgeon.
The East Lincoln Betterment Association will have their annual meeting on Jan. 11 at 7:30 p.m. The location has not been determined yet. The meeting will announce ELBAâ€™s new President, Treasurer and four new board members.
Lake Norman Seventh Day Adventist Church is currently meeting at Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Cornelius on N.C. 115. Lake Norman Flotilla 17-8 of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary holds its monthly meeting on the first Saturday of each month (no meeting in July or December). The meeting is held at Rocky Mount United Methodist Church, located on Perth Road, North of Highway 150.

This dance exercise class offers a blend of jazz dance and exercise science set to a variety of music â€” top 40, jazz, country and classics.
