50th Anniversary

Harold “Bill” and Jamsie “Sis” Shull celebrated 50 years of marriage on Oct.2 with a 1950s themed reception at the home of Ronald and Martha Fulbright, sister and brother-in-law of Sis. Garry and Annette Richard chauffeured the Shulls to the reception of 150 people in a 1957 Bel Air Chevrolet. At the reception, guests wore poodle skirts, oxford shoes, white T-shirts and black leather jackets. After dinner, guests listened to ‘50’s music and stories about the couple. The reception was hosted by Barry Shull, son of the couple, Jeannie Owensby, and the couple’s nieces and nephews. Out of state guests included Mr. and Mrs. Hank Grissom, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Dumas and Starlene Jack. The couple was married on Oct. 26, 1954 in York, S.C. and resides in Lincolnton.
