“Our doubles’ teams played well at times, but committed too many errors and split matches,” he added.
Lincolnton ups their record to 12-3 on the season, while Hibriten, the No. 3 seed from the Mountain Valley Conference, falls to 12-5.
The Wolves will host the second round of the dual team playoffs. Their opponent will be the winner of West Henderson, the No. 2 seed in the West Highlands, or Ashe Co. who is the No. 2 seed of the Mountain Valley Conference.
First things first as the Wolves will participate at Brevard College for the 2A West Regional Tournament.
