Gaston College’s corporate education program is offering seven free lunch seminars in September and Octoberto offer advice on handling business issues. All seminars are from noon to 1 p.m. on the day scheduled.
The “How to Handle Anger” seminar will be held Sept. 30 in Room 126 at the Lincoln Campus. The seminar will give information that people can use to manage their anger and to channel that energy to better uses.
The “Getting Along At Work” seminar will be held Oct. 7 in the Dalpiaz Student Access Center, 2nd floor, Room 210 at the Dallas Campus. The seminar will give helpful advice and hints on how anyone can get along better with coworkers.
The “Time Management” seminar will be held Oct. 14 in Room 126 at the Lincoln Campus. The seminar will give helpful techniques for getting more done in less time.
The “Bomb Threats: When This Happens At Your Business” seminar will be held Oct. 21 in the Dalpiaz Student Access Center, 2nd floor, Room 210 at the Dallas Campus. The seminar will give you information on what to do, how to handle and what not to do when there is a bomb threat at your business or place of employment.

The Farms, a Crescent community near Lake Norman, will open a new phase of homesites on Oct. 2 at 10 a.m.
The new phase will offer 63 homesites ranging in price from the low $50s to the low $120s. Some of the homesites will accommodate homes with basements. The homesites vary in size, but average nearly an acre.

Builder Tony Forouzad Construction Co. Inc. has joined SailView’s Featured Builder program. Tony Forouzad Construction has previous experience building in Crescent communities.
Tony Forouzad Construction has been building homes in the Charlotte area for more than 10 years. His wife, Brenda Forouzad, serves as vice president for the company.
