It will be the first Business Expo for Lincoln County.
Sponsored by the Lincolnton/Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce, the Oct. 21 Expo expects to feature some 40 businesses ranging from healthcare to real estate and retail services. It will be held at the James W. Warren Citizen Center in Lincolnton. The expo will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“We look forward to a very diverse group of businesses,†said Jack Funk of A-2-Z Promotional Products, Inc., the Expo Committee Chairman. “This is a very exciting first venture for the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce. We expect to offer something for everyone, allowing chamber members and businesses to showcase their goods or services to not only those who have exhibits, but to the community as well.â€
The initial reaction to the Expo has been very encouraging, Funk said. He expects the Expo to sell out quickly.
In addition to the exhibitor’s booths, there will be a health and wellness area where blood pressure can be checked, or an eye or hearing test conducted. A food court is also planned, serving lunch and snacks. Special events will be happening throughout the day, and door prizes will be raffled randomly.
The Expo is being funded primarily by chamber sponsors.
A few sponsorships are still available, beginning with the Bronze level at $300, the Silver level at $500, the Gold level at $1,000 and the Presenting level at $1500. Booth space is also available, but limited, and expected to sell quickly. Booth space cost for chamber members is $200 and $350 for non-members. Food vendor space is available in the food court at $275. The deadline to become a sponsor or obtained booth space is Sept. 15.
