LHS wins tourney

The Lincolnton High School soccer program won the News@Norman Soccer Tournament recently.
Lincolnton defeated West Lincoln 8-0 in their first contest. Adrian Andrade had three goals and one assist, Ivan Campos had two goals and two assists, Jose Gomez and Kevin Montes each chipped in with one goal.
The second leg of their Lincoln Co. sweep came against North Lincoln defeating them 4-0. Andrade had two goals and one assist, Ivan Campos had one goal and two assists and Ivan Ibarra contributed with one goal.
The championship game was against the East Lincoln Mustangs. With the score deadlocked with slightly over five minutes left, the Wolves scored the winning goal to give them the tournament win 3-2.
Will Bogantes recorded two goals, Campos had one goal and an assist and Pablo Esquivel contributed an assist in the championship-clinching victory.
All-tournament players were: Abraham Jimenez, Michael Castro, Will Bogantes, Adrian Andrade and Jose Gomez.
The MVP of the tournament was Ivan Campos.
