Goodwill store seeks volunteers

A local non-profit organization is asking for residents’ help.
Lincolnton’s Goodwill retail store needs volunteers to help sort donated clothing and household items, hang clothing on hangers, display clothing on sales racks, organize sales displays and help donors with donations.
The store, located at 510 Vaughn Way in Lincolnton, is looking for volunteers ages 14 and older.
Groups as large as eight people may work together at the same time. Groups of volunteers younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by one adult leader for every four student volunteers.
Volunteers may work any hours from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
After completing an application, volunteers will be scheduled for specific dates and times. Applications are available on Goodwill’s Web site at www.goodwillsp.org. Click on “Volunteer” and then “Volunteer Application” to access the form. Applications can be completed and submitted online.
