Children experience Summer Ventures with 4-H

The month of June was a time of true Summer Ventures for the children attending Lincoln County Cooperative Extension’s 4-H’s day camp programs.
Educational activities included, absorbing the need for milk by making “kick the can ice cream,” delving into international foods and cultures of France, Japan, Kenya and Mexico, energizing with circuitry, soaring into our solar system, gearing it up with engines, attracted to magnets, buzzing with the bees, fluttering with the birds, bonding with the trees, flowing with volcanoes and rocking at Crowder’s Mountain.
These programs are offered to enhance summers educational experiences. Plans are underway for next summer’s ventures.
