BASS TOURNAMENTS
Bass tournaments will be held every Friday from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. starting April 23 through August 13 at Midway Marina. Registration starts at 5 p.m. For more information call 828-459- 1119.

ANNUAL LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
The friends of the Florence Soule Shanklin Library are having their annual membership drive. Dues and donations are tax deductible. H& H Storage have contributed an area to store the donated books. Drop sites are, Chiropractic Health Center, 1247 N. N.C. 16 and The Triangle Dry Cleaners, 1255 N. N.C. 16.

STUDENT MUSIC MISSION TOUR
The Student Music Mission Tour, organized by Matt Stockman Student Ministries is touring the United States July 16-25. The 2004 team of 13 young people between the ages of 16 and 20 were selected from dozens of applications from all over the southeastern United States. Three musicians have been chosen from Denver United Methodist Church. A worship will be held Sunday, July 18 at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free, a love offering will be taken. New Beginnings Singles Club of Lake Norman meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Golden Corral in Mooresville at exit 36. Meet new people over 40 for fellowship and fun activities. For more information, call 704-664-5577.
The Computer Users Group of Lincolnton meets the first Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the Charles R. Jonas Library, Lincolnton. Guests and new members are welcome.

Salem United Methodist Church hosts a community dinner weekly on Wednesdays from 5:30 until 7 p.m. in the church’s Family Life Center.

The East Lincoln Recreation Center is open for indoor walking Monday through Friday at 8:30 a.m. The center is located on Optimist Road.
Lake Norman Flotilla 17-8 of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary holds its monthly meeting on the first Saturday of each month (no meeting in July or December). The meeting is held at Rocky Mount United Methodist Church, located on Perth Road, North of Highway 150.

Western Square Dance Lessons are also offered by Cornelius Parks and Recreation, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., on Thursdays, January through April.
This class offers basic knowledge of western square dancing, which features four couples in each square dancing to music ranging from country-western to beach music and popular hits. Dance instruction is given by members of the Cornelius Cutups Square Dance Club.

Cornelius Parks and Recreation offers Jazzercise year around on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30-10:30 a.m.; Monday & Wednesday, 6:15-7:15 p.m.; and Saturday 8:15-9 a.m. and 9:15-10 a.m.
This dance exercise class offers a blend of jazz dance and exercise science set to a variety of music — top 40, jazz, country and classics.
Fees are $31 a month for an EFT (easy fitness ticket) or $70 for eight weeks (unlimited classes). For information, call instructor Chrysta Jolley at 704-992-0679.

The Huntersville Parks and Recreation Commission meets the 4th Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics.
