A walk-a-thon to benefit children with cancer will be held, Saturday, May 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at East Lincoln High School. A rain date will be scheduled for June 5. All money goes to St. Judes Hospital.

On June 24 starting at 6:30 p.m. ELBA will host a Progressive Dinner to benefit the East Lincoln Christian Ministries. A candidates debate, focusing on candidates running for county commissioner and state representative in the July 20 primary election will be held, Tuesday, June 29. A barbeque dinner will be served at 6 p.m., the meeting will start at 7 p.m. Each candidate will give a brief two minute introduction to present their background and qualification.
