Students win awards

Six Lincoln County School of Technology students competed in the 39th Annual North Carolina Leadership and Skills Conference April 6-8 in Greensboro.
Keith Huffman placed first in the southwest region in carpentry. His teacher is Todd Jenkins.
Travis Canipe earned fourth place in diesel equipment technology. His teacher is John Turney.
Lee Norris competed in motorcycle service technology. His teacher is John Turney.
Josh Keener placed second in computer maintenance technology. His teacher is Jimmie Dellinger.
Presley Gunter earned second place in electronics application. His teacher is Jimmie Dellinger.
Alex Owen was fifth place in electronics technology. His teacher is Jimmie Dellinger.SkillsUSA is a national organization serving a quarter of a million high school and college students and professional members who are enrolled in technical, skilled and service occupations.
