Last Monday, the East Lincoln Lady Mustangs played Hunter Huss to a 4-4 tie. Solid performers for East were: Kathy Jones (1 Goal 2 Assists), Ali Fisher (1 Goal), Mariah Bell (1 Goal 1 Assist), Bailey Johnson (1 Goal) , Sara Webb ( 1 assist).
Mariah Bell, Ali Fisher and Kathy Jones brought the team back from a 4-1 deficit to tie the game midway through the second half.
East out shot Hunter Huss 24-8 but gave up three breakaways early forcing them to rally late for the tie.
On Wednesday, the Lady Mustangs defeated East Gaston 7-0 in a dominating performance. Solid performers for East were: Mariah Bell (1 Goal 3 Assists), Ali Fisher (2 Goals 1 assist), Calli Thompson (1 Goal), Kathy Jones (1 Goal), Mykel Gates (1 Goal), Krystle Kresge (1 Goal 1 assist).
Mariah Bell led the way responsible for four Mustang scores, Ali Fisher also â€˜had a strong performanceâ€™ according to head coach Jason Dragoon netting two and Erin Smith recorded the shutout.
The Lady Mustangs out shot East Gaston 21-0 and the game was called at the half due to the weather and will stand as a 7-0 conference win.
Most recently, the Lady Mustangs defeated Ashbrook 2-1 on Thursday.

After going down 1-0 early in the first half on a corner Ali Fisher responded for East with a beautiful header to the far post off a Sara Fleming throw in to tie the game.
Then Senior Captain Krystle Kresge hit one upper 90 from 25 yards out to put the Lady mustangs ahead 2-1.
East outshot Ashbrook 12-6 and Erin Smith got the win.
â€œWe got a great effort from the whole team and Juia Barker, Krystle Kresge, and Bailey Johnson owned the midfield,â€ Dragoon said.
Mariah Bell and Ali Fisher were explosive up top creating eight offensive corners and several scoring chances.
Megan Hamilton and her fullbacks kept the ball from even reaching Erin Smith most of the night. This brings the overall record to 6-3-4 and conference to 4-2-1. East plays South Point away Monday night and hosts Newton Conover Thursday night. by John Mark Brooks
